I finished seven little ones this afternoon, but didn't get them cleaned up and polished before dark, so am recording a couple photos with flash. They sure have been a lot of fun to do. Am thinking of hanging them from black cord, various levels. Anyway here are the photos, group shot, will do other individuals ones later.
Have tried various ways to photograph this little piece. I like it but as it is shinny, I am having problems even when I diffuse the light. Anyway another attempt at ATC. It is copper and brass. 2½ by 3½.

Different Direction
Have been doing a lot of copper roses and copper feathers. So decided I needed to depart from realism, and explore shapes and compositions in slightly different way. Am using the ATC format of 2½" X 3½" Probably will do a hundred as by then I should know what I am doing or forget it. The sun is down, so my photos are not very good, but neither are my first ones. When I get better would like to trade.
Please comment, especially interested in your experiences doing ATCs.

Burnt Lemons
One is supposed to make lemonaide out of lemons. though some of the tones are interesting, sort of.
I would really like to find something positive to say about burning food on stove, at least this time, I didn't melt the pan and it is easy to clean. The broth just popped right out.
I tried to stay in the kitchen when I am cooking, but I just went to put clothes in dryer, and then.......

A Love Affair with Welding
The title of my blog is taken from the subtitle of my web site: JoyGibat.com
Many years ago, I began welding with oxygen/acetylene gases. For me it is a captivating experience, although I get tired sooner than when I began in 1963.
I am selling some of my work on eBay and ARTBYUS, so I am using this blog to record some of my successes and failures. Also as a place others my make comments on my work, offer suggestions and criticism.
I am listing on eBay, another similar Copper Rose as I have sold two others this week. Here is the Copper Rose with Brass Leaves, that I made.
Here is the LINK
The Copper Rose with Brass Leaves will arrive with a glass vase, story card telling how I made it, and a gift card for you to sign.
